Missing Buoys

To the Lake James Community:

This morning I was made aware that at least two no wake buoys have come up missing from where there supposed to be at. The buoys are dictated by the DNR as to where there positions are supposed to be. Moving them is not only against our rules, but also is a DNR violation.

The two that we have identified as missing is one at the beginning of the bay by the Dam and one by the Tube and was placed at the outer edge of the bay on the south side of the lake. Even if the buoys are missing, you can still be cited for any violations that take place in the Bays, including causing a wake. Restriction #6 covers no wake in Bays and Canals.
