Boat Launch Key Information

BOAT LAUNCH KEYS

On November 15, 2022 the Board installed a new lock at Moosehead Park using green keys.  All LJPOA members in good standing are eligible for one key to the boat launch.  In order to reduce members sharing or giving extra keys away, members who own multiple lots are only given one key. Members who do not have an orange or green key will be charged a $50 replacement fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.

It is the policy of the LJPOA that all keys follow the land, not the owner. If you have recently purchased a property on Lake James and did not receive a key; we recommend the following:

a.)    Contact your realtor to investigate

b.)    If you know the seller, contact the seller

c.)     Contact the company who managed the closing paperwork

Lake James Property Owners Association cannot be responsible for a seller failing to transition all of the property at time of sale. You will be charged a $50 fee if you cannot produce an orange key to exchange.
