Reporting Blight

Hello Neighbors,

I have been told that 21 blight letters were mailed to property owners in our community. Denton Township and the Township Police Department have made a change in the way things will be done.

Instead of a Blight Officer in the township addressing issues and mailing offenders letters, it was decided that our Denton Township Police will now handle reported blight. Hopefully people will respond more respectfully and responsibly when an officer tickets and/or fines a property owner.

To report blight or dangerous buildings, please call 1-989-366-5913 extension 101, and you will be connected to the township officer. Help keep our Lake James community beautiful!
