Attention Lake James Community!
Yesterday morning, (Thursday 7-30-2020) at 7am,, a lake James resident saw two guys putting a fishing boat in lake James. They were in the process of putting an electric motor on it and getting the battery. The resident stopped and demanded they leave, they became argumentative and after some colorful discussion and other things, they decided it was better to leave. This took place on Reflection Ct. by Springwood Dr., where the water comes up by the road right after you turn onto Reflection Ct. They took their boat and equipment out of the water and left, they went to Roscommon Rd., and turned left heading towards M-55. They were driving an older Red Jeep Cherokee.
I’m asking that if you see people putting in a boat and it doesn’t look like they should be here, let someone know. Pictures and a plate number would be a big help also. We don’t need people that do not belong here on our lake for any reason, including fishing. You pay dues to help upkeep this lake, including stocking it with fish.
